E. Daniel McMahon, Jr.
Board Chair

E. Daniel “Dan” McMahon, Jr. has been an employee of Atlantic City Electric, a PHI Company, for over 35 years. In 1998, Atlantic City Electric asked him to represent the company as a member of the Board of Directors at Community Quest, Inc.. Dan says his Board membership allows him to give back to the community who has given him so much.

Prior to working at Atlantic City Electric, Dan earned an Associate’s Degree in Business and Education, a Bachelor’s Degree in Teacher of the Handicapped and Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Pupil Personnel Services. Prior to coming to Atlantic City Electric Dan taught at what is now the Atlantic County Special Services School District.

Dan is most proud of his family, wife Rosanna, 2 sons Peter and David and grand-daughter Jessica.

Linda Carney

Linda Carney brings to the Community Quest board a wealth of knowledge of non-profit organizations. For the past 25 years Linda has served as President/CEO of Career Opportunity Development, Inc. (CODI). Currently she also serves as Board President for Friends of Jean Webster feeding program.

Throughout her life Linda has demonstrated a strong sense of leadership. In 2011 Linda was a Stevie Awards finalist in which only a handful of women are selected internationally for their outstanding achievement in making a difference for others. She has served as State Chairperson for ACCSES NJ, Past Chairperson for Atlantic County Human Services Advisory Council, Past Chairperson for Casino Control Commission Disabilities Council and Past President of Atlantic Area Business and Professional Women’s Association.

Linda is pursuing her passion for teaching and is a certified CADC/LCADC trainer at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. She is currently enrolled in University of Phoenix’s Organizational Leadership program and anticipates receiving her doctorate in 2014.

Linda is an active member of Central United Methodist Church of Linwood where she chairs their Visioning and Strategy Team. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her son Christopher, her mother Claire, twin sister Donna.

Maryann Scott

Maryann Scott has been a board member of Community Quest Inc. since 2003 and is a recipient of Supported Living Services as well as Supported Employment. She has successfully served Harrah’s Entertainment for 24 years with the support of Career Quest Employment Consultants. Maryann also believes that services provided by Community Quest have afforded her the opportunity to live and function comfortably with her hometown community of Ocean City.
